Membership (Subscriptions) and Facilities Fees
(1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027)
The cost of belonging to the club is split between two categories of fees; subscriptions and facilities fees. Subscriptions are set a year in advance at each AGM (usually held in August or September each year). Facilities fees are set by the Club Committee in June for the coming financial year.
For new members, the Subscriptions Fee, Facilities Fee and Pistol NZ Affiliation Fee are abated every quarter by 25%, 50% and 75%. Expired members renewing their membership late in the year are NOT eligible for the abatement and must pay the full-year rate.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscriptions are primarily used to support the Club's operations. Fixed charges, such as power, water, rates, insurance, electricity, administration supplies, software maintenance, and minor maintenance, are covered from the subscription income.
Under the RRGC constitution, members set the Subscription Fee at the Annual General Meeting held the previous year (around September in most years). For the 2026/2027 financial year, these are:

As set at the AGM held in 2025, the base subscription fee starting on 1st July 2026 increased to $120. The 2026 AGM will determine the base subscription fees for 2027/2028.
FACILITIES FEE
Facilities fees are set by the Club Committee and reviewed annually. This ensures sufficient funds are available to meet the high expenditures required to maintain the Club's ranges and facilities. A significant portion of this budget is dedicated to ensuring range safety and certification of compliance with FSA requirements.
The Facilities Fee for 2026/2027 are :

OTHER FEES
COLLECTED ON BEHALF OF OTHER ORGANISATIONS
The Club collects Pistol New Zealand affiliation fees on behalf of Pistol NZ. This fee includes the Bullshooter bi-monthly magazine.
